Local branches

When you join MK, you automatically become a member of your local constituency party, which will cover one of Cornwall's six Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies. These branches are the workhorses of our party.

The constituency parties meet regularly to organise election campaigns, select candidates and prepare local strategies. There is sometimes a social element to branch meetings, which can be useful for new members. The present six constituencies are:

• St. Ives
• Camborne & Redruth (including Hayle)
• Truro & Falmouth 
• St. Austell & Newquay
• North Cornwall
• South-East Cornwall
