A tribute to former MK Chair Loveday Carlyon
Everyone at Mebyon Kernow is extremely saddened that MK’s eighth leader, Loveday Carlyon, recently passed away. Loveday was MK’s chair between 1986 and 1989. A formidable campaigner, she promoted a series of high profile media campaigns. This included criticism of mass tourism and she helped MK force a public inquiry seeking a Cornwall-only constituency for the European Parliament in 1988.
