PM agrees to devolution meeting with MPs

Mebyon Kernow is pleased that North Cornwall MP Ben Maguire spoke in Prime Minister’s Questions today, and asked Keir Starmer for a meeting with all six Cornish MPs to discuss devolution and the need for a Cornish Assembly. Mebyon Kernow has hit out at the failure of the UK Government to invite representatives of the nation of Cornwall to the first gathering of the new Council of the Nations and Regions, which is meeting in Scotland today.
