The new Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, who is also the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, has been writing to local councils about the possibility of devolution. Cornwall Council has also published a new “national minority” report, which will be used to help politicians, opinion-formers and public bodies understand their obligations to the Cornish national minority and Cornwall.
