The leader of Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall, Cllr Dick Cole, was one of the guests on this morning’s episode of the BBC Politics South West programme.

The main item for discussion was the so-called “devolution deal” for Cornwall and Cllr Cole strongly made the argument that Cornwall needs proper devolution like Wales and Scotland – not tweaks to local government. He also challenged the Conservative administration on the unitary authority to use their political influence to persuade the Tories in London to come forward with a more meaningful devolution settlement for Cornwall.
