Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our sister party Plaid Cymru for their victory in today’s elections to Senedd Cymru – winning 43 of the 96 seats in the Parliament.

It marks a truly historic moment for Wales and it is fantastic that Rhun ap Iorwerth is set to become First Minister.

Plaid’s campaign was positive and built on hope, and it is an inspiration to us in Cornwall as we campaign for our own Cornish Parliament / Senedh Kernow.
