Today’s MK Conference at Lys Kernow

Party members gathered at Lys Kernow today for Mebyon Kernow’s 2023 National Conference.

The event commenced with inclusivity workshops, which was followed by the Annual General Meeting at which it was confirmed that MK’s leadership team for the coming year would comprise Cllr Dick Cole (Party Leader), Cllr Loveday Jenkin (Deputy Leader), Cllr Andrew Long (Treasurer) and Cllr James Ball (Party Development Officer).

Activists present at the Conference also agreed ten motions. These are detailed in other posts on this website.

The Conference also featured a keynote address from Party Leader Cllr Dick Cole. Topics covered by Cllr Cole included the need for housing justice and MK‘s ongoing campaign for devolution, and he issued a challenge to all candidates standing in Cornish constituencies at the next General Election to come clean on where they stand in relation to MK’s demand for a Cornish Parliament.
