Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall would like to thank Andrew George (Liberal Democrat; St Ives), Anna Gelderd (Labour; South East Cornwall), Ben Maguire (Liberal Democrat; North Cornwall), Jayne Kirkham (Labour; Truro and Falmouth), Noah Law (Labour; St Austell and Newquay) and Perran Moon (Labour; Camborne, Redruth and Hayle) for taking their parliamentary oaths in Cornish.

It is so symbolic that all six MPs from the west of the Tamar have asserted Cornish nationhood by using the language, and we hope that the Government is listening and will prioritise the needs of the Cornish nation going forward.
