Mercury Prize: Well done to Gwenno

Mebyon Kernow would like to extend congratulations to Gwenno Saunders, whose Cornish language album “Tresor” was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Dick Cole celebrates 25 years as MK leader

This month marks the 25th anniversary of Dick Cole’s election as the leader of Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall. He was voted into the role at MK’s 1997 Annual Conference, held on 4th October in Fraddon Village Hall. Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall has confirmed that it objects to the Conservative-run unitary authority’s intention to remove the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre from Newquay Airport.
